Two paid internships available. Previous internship preferred but not required. Internships last about six months each, from January through summer, then summer through the end of the year. Interns rotate and work for sister paper Bay City Times and shoot for MLive website. Please have reliable transportation.

Deadline is September 15 to have portfolios in hand for internships at The Muskegon Chronicle a 38,000 circulation daily paper in Michigan on the Lake Michigan shoreline. Applicants must provide their own transportation, camera bodies and lenses. Some pool equipment is available. This is a paid internship as well as mileage and cell phone reimbursements. Video experience is a must. Internship runs January-mid-May. Please include a cover letter telling why you want an internship at The Muskegon Chronicle, a resume with references, their phone numbers and a portfolio of photos. Digital portfolios should include captions and be Macintosh compatible. Online portfolios accepted.

What: A 36-hour running race needs marketing photos
Details: Ragnar Relay, an overnight running relay race company, wants NAU students to capture photos of the racers in the beautiful mountains outside of Salt Lake City.
Great Pictures from March everyone! Good job to all of those who submitted pictures and to those who won! For those unable to make it we had celebrity judge Peter Schwepker all the way from Colorado judging our pictures. Pizza and Pictures turned out to be a great success, don’t forget first Thursday of every month we have a clip contest!

ok well its not here, here but the Danny Lyon lecture (that i know you all have been waiting for on pins and needles) is WEDNESDAY AT CLINE AUDITORIUM AT 7:00 PM. need more incentive to come … i mean other than the opportunity to learn from a legendary photojournalist? Pj/One will have volunteers selling books of Danny Lyon’s photography (signed copies?!?!?!) So come down and enjoy a wonderful night with Pj/One and Danny Lyon :)
